Following updated guidance from British Rowing, we are now fully re-open for rowing – although with some changes.

Session times for rowing/indoor training (weather dependent) are, from Saturday 5 September, as follows:

Year 12s: Saturday 8am to 9am, Thursday 5pm to 6.30pm

Year 11s: Saturday 9am to 10am, Wednesday 6.30pm to 8pm

Year 10s: Saturday 10am to 11am, Wednesday 5pm to 6.30pm.

Y13 and adults: Thursday 6.30pm to 8pm, Sunday 10am to 12noon.

Additional sessions may be available by invite only. Unfortunately we are currently unable to run weight training sessions, due to a limited amount of equipment. Weights are only to be used on an individual with the express permission of a coach or the Captain, and must be washed down and put away after use.

In line with Coronavirus guidelines, we are operating a row and go system, with the men’s changing room to be used as a bag drop only, and the women’s changing room only to be used in the event of capsize or injury. Therefore please arrive ready to row, with shoes for both indoor and outdoor activities, and a change of clothes. Indoor rowing will continue on a socially distanced basis. A one way system is in place, hand sanitizer stationed around the club for use as you enter and exit the building, and wipes available in both the boat house and exercise hall for the wiping down of all equipment after use.

Please note, the kitchen and bar are to remain closed.

As previously, if you have any symptoms of Coronavirus, please do not attend the rowing club. Anyone attending a session with symptoms will be asked to leave.
